A poem dedicated to Hikari who created a splendid painting for me

My dear followers,

I am thrilled that our fabulous Japanese painter Hikari dedicated to me a wonderful painting; the painting you see as the feature of the post and also below.

After she finished painting Hikari wrote:

“To my Dearest.
I support you who are proud as you fight against injustice”
I drew it with the image of two Japanese heroes in mind, Yoshitsune (1159-1189) and Benkei (?-1189).
The two fought together […] until their death.

My dearest Hikari,

I am deeply humbled and honored by your dedication. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I hope many people will join the fight against injustice. Thank you for being you. Thank you for this marvelous painting.

To Hikari – with love from Gabriela

The star becomes the blade that knows the atomicity of life
Molecules that bind forever
And the eternal sea where enemies leave trails of tears and of blood
I seek the road to skies born from the legendary peach
And from a drop of malleable white.

Come, stay with me forever inside horizons where once moons and children played
Fight and love with me under the sacred branches of an old sakaki
The darkened sea has stopped somewhere into my heart
And in the sheets of water and of salt,
Injustice, we will strangulate you with our bare hands
And naked we will show you to the night.

Hikari travelled and took some pictures. I am glad to share two of them with you. I hope you enjoy them.

Thank you everyone and have a pleasant rest of the week.
Gabriela
