Nature and I: 8 Micro poems
My reflection splashed the pond
Spreading my identity
Over lotus petals by the silver swans
The musk in my hands
Came from the fresh roses
Before they became potpourri
I left a sunset, years ago
Still looking for the crimson ball
In the clouds of hometown
They say it’s the same sun everywhere
Why then grandpa’s verandah
Has a different hue of light?
The mystic mountains were beckoning
I could not look up high
The fear of losing grounds was looming
He walked out of the fog
On trails I could not see
Then we both merged with the trails and the fog
Seven layers of a clear sky
Are prettier than the rainbow
It’s the depth of perception that matters
She had no name
Each morning, she was born in the lap of sun
With a new face of light
