Bio:
Author, multilingual poet, and mad lover of words, Shivangi’s writing has been featured at the Frankfurt Book Fair, The Wall Street Journal, and The Asian Age, among other places. She lives in the Netherlands with her family in a house overflowing with books and ideas.
It is amazing
How much walking we can do
Just to reach nowhere
Mind said lots today
Please give some pretty poems
So that it can pause
How can such doing
Happen to come from someone
Who is a being
I’d love to visit
That quiet place which is in
The space between breaths
Stop to smell the rose
But if it’s raining there
Imagine the rose
2026 Literary Revelations plans:
Literary Revelations is calling for submissions for a new anthology of haiku entitled: Haiku for Soulmates
Submissions will open January 5, 2026. We’ll let you know on time about the number of haiku you need to submit, the email where you should submit, and the selection process. We will also let you know when the submissions close.
