The Blind Men

An startled response
misdirects four blind men.
Perhaps I know how to go
and knock on the iron door
of the Bagmari graveyard;
perhaps I do not.
I cannot remember
when the leader asked extending
the white end of his arm,
felt an urge to hold the shoulders
of the hindmost man
with two white eyes and walk;
the stars will guide us, and
because we cannot see them
we’ll end up discovering
a newfoundland, a shapeless
and colourless rebirth.

Epiphany During Returning Home

A streetlight bleeds in the dark.
The shadows of some festival pennons
cast a shivering graph of the wind.
In the rearview mirror of a parked bike
an urchin inspects the growth of his
facial hair. The clouds’ formation
around the almost full moon reminds me
to shave in the morning albeit I shall remain
gray, growing my silhouette, rolling it
towards the end of the lane.
